What makes a bike a trekking bike?
A trekking bike is the most frequently purchased bicycle in Germany. The reason for this is the all-rounder properties of this type of bicycle. It combines the characteristics of different types of bicycles. The tyres are slightly treaded and narrower than on a mountain bike, but wider than on a road bike. The riding position is sporty, but still rather upright. Equipped with a luggage rack and panniers, it is the ideal companion for bicycle travel.
